Job Requirement
Education and Certification:
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in international development studies, gender/women’s studies, economics, political science, international relations, social sciences, or related discipline.
- A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience:
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience of which at least 3 must be at international level involving multi-stakeholder projects and partnership development.
- Extensive experience leading resource mobilization and donor relation efforts . This must be proven by evidence of previous resource mobilization records in that functional role.
- Proven expertise in the area of gender equality and women’s empowerment
- Demonstrated experience preparing strategic presentations and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the main funding platforms
- Experience in working with government, donors, development partners and the UN is an asset.
Languages:
- Fluency in English is required
- Knowledge of French or Spanish or any other UN official language is an asset.
