Job Requirement
- Minimum 4 years’ experience from a senior business development, proposal writing, fundraising or similar management position, with responsibility for programme, in a humanitarian/recovery context.
- Extensive experience in proposal writing, networking and new business development
- Experience of working on, coordinating or leading consortia or other forms of partnership implementation
- Experience in M&E systems and approaches, and accountability mechanisms and frameworks
- Experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
- Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
- Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal – strong proposal writing skills are compulsory
Context/Specific skills, knowledge and experience:
- · Knowledge of the context in Ethiopia, across all regions
- · Knowledge of donor landscape, priorities and conditions
- · Experience of working in integrated programmes
- · Experience of steering the development of M&E systems
