Description of Duties
- Prepares and codes cheek payment vouchers;
- Total and balance subsidiary ledger accountant
- Counts petty cash on hand at time of float replenishment and schedule suspense vouchers;
- Schedules or machine lists subsidiary ledger balance at month end agreement with general ledger account balance;
- Total value balance on direct/indirect material stock record card agreement with subsidiary/ general stock ledger account balance;
- Scrutinizes all prime registers for correctness and journalize of the totals;
- Journalize transactions such as bank advise, insurances debit note; insurance claims, suppliers invoices, accrual for transit change etc.
- Checks correctness of daily cash collection and deposit report and code attached receipts;
- Checks correctness of credit sales invoices and codes them;
- Checks correctness of petty cash reports and requests and petty cash analysis sheets and summarize the totals;
- Summarize payrolls for journalizing;
- Performs periodic verification of payroll standing date with personnel files;
- Performs related duties as required
