Job Requirement

  • Required Education: Two (2) years of general college or university study is required.
  • Required Experience: A minimum of 3 (three) years of progressively responsible professional-level experience in investigative work, such as criminal or private investigations, or with police or government organizations is required.
  • Language Requirement: Level IV (Fluent) speaking/reading/writing of English is required. (This may be tested)
  • Level IV (Fluent) speaking/reading/writing of Amharic is required. (This may be tested)

Skills and abilities:

  • A valid Ethiopian grade II driver’s license is required. (Driving may be tested)
  • Ability to maintain extensive contacts at all levels within the host country law enforcement and security agencies
  • Ability to conduct sensitive investigations to include handling evidence with utmost discretion
  • Ability to train and supervise the work of others
  • Ability to draft correspondence and written reports in English
  • Computer software programs to include Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). (This may be tested)
  • Not Ordinarily Resident: FP-06
