Job Purpose:
The livelihood and economic inclusion program analyst will assist the project of UNFPA, UNHCR and KOICA on strengthening resilience to the people affected by displacement with a focus on Youth Population. The incumbent will lead the programmatic management of the project with a focus on livelihoods and economic inclusion and will ensure that results are achieved within the available time and budget. They will be responsible and accountable for monitoring, reporting, follow-up on project deadlines and commitments, and management of project documentation. They will lead the coordination of the KOICA funded project, informing on relevant issues, responding to logistic and administrative requirements when needed. They are expected to perform other related duties required to achieve UNFPA and UNHCR’s targets and goals.
Job Requirement:
Education: Master’s degree in one of the following fields is required: international development, livelihood development, Gender and Youth Development, Monitoring and evaluation or a field relevant to related development assistance.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in programmes aimed at building resilience among youth affected by displacement is required.
- At least 2 years of international experience with youth work, advocacy, capacity building, project writing, reaching marginalized populations.
Languages:
- Fluency in English, with excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, is required; proficiency in Korean is an asset.
