She is in charge of strategic planning and overseeing a cafe’s daily operations. In order to boost profitability and customer’s engagement, she manages workers, makes sure that exceptional customer service is provided, handles ordering and inventory, and keeps track of financial records.
Detail Job Description:
- Overseeing the cafe’s daily operations; hiring and orienting new employees instructing personnel on how to make drinks and utilize coffee makers.
- Develop cordial connections with customers in order to foster loyalty and improve our standing.
- Ensure availability of adequate inputs on stock, (such as food packing material, coffee, milk etc.) ensure daily, weekly and monthly revenue and cost records are kept up to date.
- Depending on the season and the tastes of the patrons, introduce new menu items (food, juice, coffee drinks, for example).
- Provide employees with guidance on how to provide exceptional customer service and handle complaints if any
- Other assignments as required by the managing director.
Job Requirement
Experience:
- Having experience of working as an operation or cafe manager.
- Practical knowledge of café and coffee shop businesses with strong analytical and coordination abilities.
- Willingness to work on weekends and holidays.
- Outstanding interpersonal skill and the capacity to lead and inspire a group.
- Customer-focused mindset.
Education and Training:
- BA in management, hospitality, or other related fields with 5 years of experience as mentioned above.
- A second certification is preferable, such as one in hospitality or business administration.
