Job Requirement
- Minimum of Diploma and BA in Development Economics; Development management, Accounting and finance Agriculture, Rural Development, Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Cooperative and SMEs development or other relevant fields, or Bachelors with relevant work experience.
- English (fluent, spoken and written)
- Knowledge local Knowledge is mandatory (Amharic, Afar & Tigigna)
Experience and technical competencies:
- Minimum of 3-year experience in areas of Agriculture, Livelihood development, alternative financing like VSLAs, financial inclusion, Micro and small enterprise development, Business development.
- Experience working in and deep understanding of Village Savings Loans Associations (VSLAs) and private sector engagement and/or implementing livelihoods/self-reliance, gender mainstreaming, peacebuilding/social cohesion, protection or advocacy interventions within financial inclusion programming context.
- Experience of working on early recovery projects specially on conflict and climate change affected areas.
- Minimum of 3-year experience in areas of Agriculture, Livelihood development, alternative financing like VSLAs, financial inclusion, Micro and small enterprise development, Business development.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- The position holder is responsible for implementations of filed level activities of the project.
- Facilitation of the beneficiary orientation, targeting, and documentation of minuets of the targeting are among the responsibility of the post holder.
- Facilitation of kebele level trainings, awareness raising sessions, monitoring and assessment are the other responsibilities expected from the position.
- Providing of close follow up and technical support for activity implementation’s specially VSLAs to ensure their sustainability and future development through coaching of their saving, regularity of meeting, business diversification, record keeping, applicability of bylaws and functionality of management committees.
