Job Requirements
As the Engineering Department Head, you will play a critical role in leading and managing all technical aspects of CCAE’s operations. You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing engineering standards and procedures
- Providing technical guidance and support to CCAE members
- Overseeing the quality and safety of construction projects
- Representing CCAE on technical matters at national and international levels
- Managing a team of engineers and other technical staff
- Developing training contents that suites the Construction industry
- Strategic plan development that aliens with CCAE goals
- Research and development
- Claim management, Project management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior engineering position within the
- construction industry (MSc., Project management professional preferable)
- Proven track record of success in managing and leading teams
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of Ethiopian construction laws and regulations
- Background of onsite and office work.
- Good proposal writing skill
- Fluency in Amharic and English
