Job Requirement
- Master’s degree in international relations, business administration, management, human rights, social sciences or related field.
Experiene
- A total minimum of 5 years experience in a relevant sector.
- Minimum 3 years as in a senior leadership level role with UN, NGOs and/or Donor agencies or equivalent in an emergency context.
- At least 3 years’ experience working with INGOs and/or international agencies on similar duties
- Demonstrated representation and coordination experience in multi-agency forums. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in INGO coordination would be a significant advantage.
- Experience in developing and updating TORs, Strategy documents, SOPs, and other management documents and tools.
- Proven in-country experience liaising with UN missions or agencies.
- Significant experience in the development of advocacy, policy and key messaging documents
- Strong understanding of the IASC coordination architecture, integrated missions, Humanitarian principles and the Transformative Agenda
- Proven experience in incident/crisis management.
- Fluent English, and strong interpersonal, communication, and networking skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Computer literate, able to use common software packages.
- Previous work experience in Ethiopia is preferred
- Be flexible to travel at short notice to difficult and risky areas.
- Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Language
- Proficiency in English and Amharic language.

- Relevant bachelor’s degree or qualification in information systems, communications, social sciences or related field.
Experiene
- At least 3 years of experience with an NGO or UN agency, at least 2 years of which should be in an operational setting.
- Experience in developing, managing information, and using databases in humanitarian settings.
- Experience compiling information for external dissemination.
- Good experience in research and data/information management, information security as well as quality assurance techniques.
- Strong understanding of humanitarian, displacement and protection issues.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and MS Access or other databases, SharePoint online, and other modern tools.
- Strong knowledge of data collection, analysis and visualization tools and techniques, such as ActivityIfo, Kobo, Power-BI,

- Previous experience working with protection-related databases and information systems including creating and maintaining
