Job Requirement
- Minimum of MA in Banking/ Finance/ Economics/ Business Administration/ Social Science/ Accounting/ Marketing/ Agricultural Economics/ Management or related fields Or MBA in Finance/ International Business/ Social Science/ Cooperatives or related fields
- At least ten years of direct experience in financial services providing institutions, 5 of which should be in senior management positions in a microfinance
- Demonstrated experience in strategic plan development; presentation of Strategic Plan will be used as selection criteria
- Advanced and practical knowledge of Microfinance or banking operations, products and services as well as standard Microfinance compliance regulations, Microfinance
- laws, business law, employment and labor law, internal operational policies and procedures
- Practical knowledge of a wider range of microfinance products, including loans, savings and insurance
- Demonstrated experience in leading; and building cohesive and high performing teams
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- Ability to delegate effectively amongst the management teams and show commitment to the long-term development of the management team through coaching and mentoring
