Job Requirement
- Master’s degree or equivalent in public administration, law, human rights, gender equality, management, social sciences or other related areas is required;
- A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree;
- A project/programme management certification would be an added advantage
Experience:
- At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience at the national or international level in managing complex and multi-component programme interventions with national partners, preferably related to thematic area is required.
- Experience in coordinating, implementing, monitoring and evaluating development programmes and projects; specifically with different UN agencies is required.
- Experience leading and coaching staff in international settings is required.
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems is required.
- Experience in the use of a modern web-based ERP System, preferably Oracle Cloud, is desirable.
Languages:
- Fluency in English is required;
- Working knowledge of the French language is an asset
- Knowledge of another UN language (Arabic, Russian, Spanish and Chinese) is preferred.
