Job Requirement
Responsibilities:
- Implementation, configuration, and maintenance of core banking software and hardware.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the core banking system.
- Providing technical support to end-users and ensuring smooth system operation.
- Performing system upgrades, patches, and updates.
- Developing and maintaining system documentation and procedures.
- Monitoring system performance and optimizing for efficiency.
- Collaborating with IT teams and other departments to ensure integration with other systems.
- Training and orientation of other staffs.
- Adhering to security standards and best practices to protect sensitive data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience of which 3-5 years in managerial position in core banking system administration.
- Strong knowledge of core banking software (e.g., Temenos, Oracle FLEXCUBE, Infosys Finacle).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, PowerShell).
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in core banking systems or related technologies.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
