Job Requirement
Major Duties:
- Coordinate implementation of economic empowerment interventions.
- Support and guide the Entrepreneurship Promotion Officers and monitor performance of their activities.
- Monitor and manage the relationship and networking with Government, Partners and other Stakeholders.
- Manage budget earmarked for entrepreneurship promotion and economic rebuilding of the target groups.
- Lead the design of the overall training program for Women.
- Together with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning as well as Grants Specialists, continually identify specific training needs and support the project beneficiary women.
- Follow up, monitor on site and report progress and achievements.
Required Qualification, Experience and Skills:
- Qualification: MA/ MSc, BA/ BSc Degree in Development Economics, Agricultural Economics, Sociology, Social Work, Business Development or related development studies.
- Experience: 5 years for MA/MSc 7 years for BA/ BSc in related works.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to mobilize and coordinate and work with diverse Stakeholders and
- Community Groups at grassroots level.
- Adequate knowledge and awareness on safeguarding of children, women adults and other vulnerable groups of the community.
- Diligent, attentive to details.
- Good command of English and Amharic Languages both spoken and written.
Condition of employment:
- One year contract with possibility of extension based on performances and continuity of the project.
Experience:
- Experience in NGOs is an advantage for all positions
