Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Board of Directors and the Secretary General, the Manager, Internal Audit Service is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, directing and controlling the functions of Internal Audit Service. He/she identifies financial and operational risk areas, reviews and appraises the internal control system within AACCSA
to give reasonable assurance on adherence to acceptable standards, policies, procedures, strategies and legal requirements. He/she also discloses growth areas and application problems and suggests solutions for exceptions and problems disclosed. He/she provides regular advisory services to the Board, Secretary General (SG), Deputy Secretary Generals (DSGs), Directors and Managers to ensure that AACCSA’s resources are properly managed and utilized. Also, he/she confirms that all activities are free of corruption and favoritism and all resources are protected from theft and pilferage and utilized to the interest of stakeholders.
Job Requirement
Qualification Requirement:
- Education: BA//MSC/MBA degree in Accounting and Finance/Business Administration from recognized Higher Learning Institutions.
- Work Experience: Must have a minimum of 10 years of work experience for BA and 8 years of work experience for Master Degree holders respectively in similar position.
TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS
- Professional integrity and high moral standard
- Extensive knowledge in auditing procedures
- Strong skills in analysis and synthesis
- Good level of knowledge about IFRS and Accounting Standards
