Job Requirement
Education
- Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in Environmental Studies, Natural Sciences, Energy, Transport, Economics, Development, Public Policy, or related field is required.
- A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas stated above, in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
Required
- A minimum of two (2) years (with master’s degree) or four (4) years (with bachelor’s degree of relevant experience in climate change, energy transition, or related fields is required.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of international best practices in energy transition, low-carbon development, and climate policy is required.
- Experience in project design, monitoring, and evaluation is required.
Desired
- Familiarity with multilateral organizations, preferably UNDP or other UN agencies is desired.
- Experience working in Viet Nam or Southeast Asia is desirable.
- Proficiency in standard office software (Office Suite) is desired.
Language
Fluency in English is required (writing, speaking, presentation).
