Job Requirement
- A master’s degree in political science, law, international development, economics, finance, business administration, project management, social sciences, engineering or applied sciences.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager on donor funded projects.
- Experience as a Project Manager on at least 2 projects, and experience with a budget of CA 5,000,000 or more.
- Demonstrated experience with different development actors (governments or public authorities, other donors, non-governmental organizations and international organizations) working collaboratively in consulting on development results, by participating in the achievement of these results and by creating and facilitating initiatives in Ethiopia.
- The Project Manager must have project related experience in Ethiopia.
- Formulate and manage project plans by defining deliverables, identifying milestones, reviewing project progress and ensuring ongoing risk management.
- Plan and coordinate the activities of project staff, stakeholders, subcontractors and other support providers.
- Lead the timely preparation and submission of documents and deliverables.
- Plan, lead, coordinate and control the activities of project teams to achieve project objectives in terms of content, quality, costs and timelines.
- Establish and maintain networks of key stakeholders (government, civil society, other donors, private sector).
- Conduct post-project reviews/learn and share the results with the project team and other relevant stakeholders.
